Front Desk Systems and Training Specialist
This is a full-time benefitted position. This position will work at all 20 Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) throughout Northern Virginia. When not at the Centers, this position will be in our Corporate Office in Fairfax, Virginia. The hours are Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

You will oversee front-end systems and processes across all divisions, ensuring they are implemented efficiently to optimize both customer service and operational effectiveness.
You also play a key role in service recovery, ensuring any issues with patients or families are swiftly addressed and resolved.

You also play a key role in service recovery, ensuring any issues with patients or families are swiftly addressed and resolved.
What you'll do:
- Lead the performance oversight of Patient Coordinators at all FRC locations, focusing on maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
- Conduct comprehensive front desk training for newly hired Patient Coordinators, emphasizing patient-centered service, communication skills, and service recovery strategies. Regularly provide refresher training to keep staff up to date.
- Proactively review and assess front desk operations at each location, identifying opportunities for improvement in customer service, registration accuracy, and efficiency. Collaborate with teams to enhance workflow and streamline communication across departments.
- Address patient and family concerns or issues in a timely manner, ensuring service recovery is executed effectively to rebuild trust and improve overall patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a resource for Patient Coordinators, Center Managers, and Department Managers by providing guidance on handling complex situations and resolving issues that arise at the front desk or in registration processes.
What you'll bring:
- 3+ years' experience in healthcare operations, with at least one year in a lead or training role in a medical office setting.
- Experience with customer service training, service recovery, and team development within a healthcare environment.
- Associate's degree and/or FRC experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures.
- Exceptional verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, with a strong focus on patient relations.
- Ability to travel by car to all FRC locations as needed.
