What You'll Do:
- Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle process, including payer contract negotiations, insurance credentialing, billing, and collections, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
- Implement patient-friendly billing policies and procedures to improve patient satisfaction and ensure compliance with payment obligations.
- Develop and execute strategies to minimize bad debt, enhance revenue capture, and optimize cash flow and profitability across the organization.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement within the revenue cycle process.
- Create and manage KPI and Revenue Cycle dashboards to provide ongoing insight into performance metrics and progress toward financial goals.
- Collaborate with department managers across FRC to ensure accurate and timely documentation for billing purposes and proactively address claim rejection trends.
What You'll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in revenue cycle and patient financial services, with a strong record of success in healthcare finance.
- At least 5 years of progressive responsibility, including managing teams and overseeing complex revenue cycle projects.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT systems, compliance standards, and policy interpretation.
- Strong familiarity with third-party payer regulations, insurance billing requirements, and government reimbursement programs.
- A proven ability to develop and implement strategies that minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, and increase revenue, all while enhancing patient satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
