As the Lead Mammography/ X-Ray Tech for Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are ready to take your experience as a Mammography Tech to the next level. You enjoy the idea of training, coaching, and developing the team to perform at the highest level.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with the Center Manager to clarify scheduling protocols, patient preps, and physician orders
- Responsible for the day-to-day activities in Mammography/X-Ray to include, but not limited to the following:
- Planning additional days of service if needed
- Providing extra time for down units
- Adjusting schedules as needed
- Maintain accurate records associated with QA procedures, equipment maintenance, and other areas as needed
- Participate in the interview and hiring process
- Perform Mammography/X-Ray exams
- Embracing a patient-centered approach, you'll deliver Mammography services with professionalism and exceptional customer care
What you'll bring:
- 3+ years' experience performing Mammography/X-Ray
- Advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance
- ARRT certification in RT (R) certification is required
- Active Virginia RT license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong customer service skills.
