X-Ray Technologist

This is a full-time, benefitted position. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

No weekends, holidays, evenings, or call. Free parking.

Who you are:

As an X-Ray Technologist with Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) in Alexandria, VA you are passionate about the patient experience and do your best every day to help the teams you work with to provide the best care.

What you will do:
  • Image patients under the guidelines and standards set forth by FRC and regulatory agencies.
  • Practice a high level of quality imaging, limiting repeat exposures and excellent patient care.
  • Obtain complete medical history on patient as required by department guidelines.
  • Explain the procedure to the patient in a clear and concise manner the procedure and answer all reasonable questions.


What you bring:
  • Able to perform Diagnostic X-rays
  • Active RT (R) (ARRT) certification
  • Active Virginia RT license or able to obtain one with 60 days
    • Will accept limited license for DXA only technologist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
