You enjoy the interaction with your patients, from entry to discharge, and the impact you have on their experience.
What you'll do:
- Working side by side with a dynamic team of providers, you will assist with a wide variety of interventional procedures that are referred by, not limited to:
- CV, OB, Urology, Oncology, and Ortho
- Assess patients, provide appropriate patient care and treatment during pre-, intra- and post-procedure phases of the patient's procedure
- Provide intra-procedure monitoring and administration of moderate sedation
- Recovery/Discharge of the patient post procedure
- Post procedure communication with patients
What you'll bring:
- Moderate sedation experience as an RN is required
- 2+ years' RN experience in IR, ED, or Critical Care is highly preferred
- BLS certification is required
- ACLS certification is required
- Unencumbered Virginia RN license is required (or other Compact state if not living in Virginia)
- Excellent computer skills, specifically within an EMR
- Epic experience a plus
