At Fairfax Radiology Centers, our MRI Technologists in the Float Pool gain exposure to a variety of outpatient settings while working with some of the most advanced MRI technology available, including GE 1.5T Artist, GE 3T Premier, and GE 3T Hero systems.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days, you will:

• Confidently perform MRI exams across multiple FRC locations
• Produce high-quality images that meet radiologist expectations with minimal repeats
• Adapt quickly to different workflows, teams, and environments
• Deliver a consistent, high-quality patient experience across all sites
• Build strong working relationships with technologists, radiologists, and staff

What You’ll Do

• Float to imaging centers throughout Northern Virginia
• Perform routine and specialty MRI exams with accuracy and professionalism
• Deliver high-quality imaging with strong attention to patient safety and comfort
• Operate within MRI safety standards and best practices
• Maintain imaging protocols and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to provide timely diagnostic services

Qualifications

Required

• 1+ years of MRI experience (GE experience preferred)
• ARRT (R) or MRI certification, or ARMRIT certification
• BLS certification

Preferred

• Experience with GE MRI systems
• Philips MRI experience a plus
• Experience in outpatient imaging environments
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems
